Who in their right mind makes a book where you kill a little kid?

I hate this movie and book cause it kills off Trevor. The kid wouldn't hurt a fly! And worst of all they show it, who wants to see a 7th grade kid get stabbed in the chest?! I like horror movies, I like seeing adults die in cool ways, but having an innocent 7th grade kid get stabbed in the chest is crossing the line.

I think books and movies that make you want to see people die in cool ways are dangerous. You're not supposed to WANT to see a kid get killed. The fact that it's horrible is the point. It is horrible. It's real too. Our country knows this all too well now. Sometimes movies and books need to challenge us.
