I hate this movie and book cause it kills off Trevor. The kid wouldn't hurt a fly! And worst of all they show it, who wants to see a 7th grade kid get stabbed in the chest?! I like horror movies, I like seeing adults die in cool ways, but having an innocent 7th grade kid get stabbed in the chest is crossing the line.
Because it happens in real life, we can't just ignore that fact and pretend it doesn't happen it happens. Books and movies aren't all about bubblegum and rainbows happy endings. This is not the first book, movie etc that features children dying or being killed, and it won't be the last. It was important to the plot progression and conclusion of the story. The fact that that's the only reason you hate the movie is really kind of ignorant, there are many other things that happen in the movie other than that one event. ALSO Maybe put an F*ing spoiler warning in the title you jerk, not everyone who reads the discussion board as seen the movie.
