actually it is not u.s soil its still owned by the host nation but its true that being born on u.s military base makes you an american citizen
shareNo it doesn't. If you were born at the American Embassy in Iran to American parents in 1978, you would not be considered Iranian. You would be considered American. According to International Law, Embassies and Military bases are considered American (or British or any other foreign power, for that matter) territory or soil. That is why the seizing of the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979 was considered an "act of war". Similar to as if Iranians invaded NYC and occupied it. Or Americans occupying Iraq. It's the same principle.
