100 girls, 1 black girl
Was I the only one who noticed that there were only two black people in the whole movie? One dude who hung out with the rapist and one girl who never spoke.
Can you say black token hollywood?

Black girls wouldn't fit in the movie because of some of the stupid female *beep* that was discussed didn't apply to them. Like all of the anti-woman stereotypes the guys had about women that were in all of "Matt's" elaborate speeches as well as his roommate's. In other words, the sistahs (black women) were too cool for the movie! I don't think Matt would have been able to handle a black girl, and as the saying goes, he'd never go back!
Not to mention there were no Asian sistahs in the movie, either. They wouldn't fit for the same reasons.
Black girls are only stupid in real life....they voted for obama!!! hahahahaha
shareStrangely enough there were no:
Fat girls
Goth girls
Muslim girls
Hinduist girls
Amish girls
Nuns
Squaws
etc.
Yeah But you have to understand that only 1 ethnic group constantly complains about stuff like that
Could be because you saw the movie from the main chars point of view. you couldn't clearly see his dream girl when she walked in the elevator but you could see that she had a lighter skin tone I think. If he had seen that he would have only looked for women with the correct skin tone and wouldn't have given much thought to black women (even though Emmanuelle isn't exactly pale herself), since he doesn't, there's no real need to show them. He was just looking for a girl who is either white or at most asian (depending on the lights)....
You know what, forget about this, this is *beep* if he had seen her skin he should have known it was Emmanuelle the whole time, I can't justify this with lights...
For the most part, he should be able tell from her linguistic skills
shareThis movie was extremely liberal, as a matter of fact it was almost a political statement.
Racism was NOT involved in anyway.
...cares? Who sits there and pays attention to such minutae. I'm a polish jew, but do I see if I can find enough polish jews in every movie show - no, because it doesn't matter. Get a life, whistleblower.
shareWhen the roles are reversed people seem to pay all kinds of attention. You wont believe the uproar I have heard over a videogame that has a black main character. 95% of the time a minority will play as a Caucasian character and not care. Then the 5% of the time the main character comes from a different race and culture people are asking about create a player and flipping out. It's ridiculous.

It really depends on where you go in America. Here in New York City where there is a significant "minority" population meaning any race but white there is a greater percentage of blacks or african americans. Where I am at, I'd say a good 20% of my college are of african american descent. But there are also other schools that have a higher percentage of whites, but this is really dependent on the geographic location and maybe some other factors.
