100 girls, 1 black girl
Was I the only one who noticed that there were only two black people in the whole movie? One dude who hung out with the rapist and one girl who never spoke.
Can you say black token hollywood?

yeah i thought that was funny as hell. The black girl comes into the movie with like 3 min left too.
sharelmfao
Do people really pay any attention to signitures?
2 actually, one sitting on the window sill during matt's big monologue and another sitting a few seats behind him in class. hahaha
share"Do people really pay any attention to signitures?"
Only when they're misspelled. Or…uh… is that the joke?
Was I the only one that noticed there was hardly any men in the movie maybe 5 or 6 men but only 3 of em really had any parts
shareHello?? movie title?, takes place mostly at girls dorm?...there's tons of men's movies, this was not one of them
shareFor a movie with maybe one of the largest female to male ratios I've ever seen, there wasn't a single two-dimensional female role.
shareThe movie took place in a college...
Statisticly speaking, there's ALOT less black girls then white girls in college...
Well actually, statistically speaking 16% and more college students are African-American, in the US of course.
And to the guy from Australia, I'm from Philadelphia which has a pretty even amount of black people and white people. I could estimate about 40% white, 40% black, and the other 20% is other ethnicities.
1 out of a 100 girls then, that's just below 16% ;)
share16% of 100 is 16.
shareso what?
shareSomething tells me he was being sarcastic. of course 1 is less than 16, watch Borat and find out what sarcasam is, lol.
Anyway, it is the norm anyway for a white kid to want to choose mainly from the white category, so the movie is pretty accurate. in the same way as a black dude would want to choose from the black category. I mean, how many white and black couples have you seen, apart from movies, which is, as we all know is purely Fiction.
So i guess Blah!
whaaaat? we f'cking love white women! every last one of them. ☺
Plot hole - Aspect of a film that is misunderstood or missed while using your smart phone.
16% of 100 is 16!!!
That's s funny, but of course true.
I think this was a lower budget movie that didn't have the star power (at the time Katherine Heigl had not been big). All the young black scarletts were no doubt to big for this movie.
That would be 1%.
shareYou misspelled a lot. hahahaha
sharebut the film must appeal to all who watch it.
share2 too many
shareagreed

I'm not certain about this, but I'm pretty sure the Black population in the US is 12%. Not sure about within college populations specifically.
shareWhat do you mean 2 too many you racist *beep*
shareI've never seen the flick, my roommate has it in his collection though so I was kind of curious what the reviews are on here.
Anyway, the reason I say that is, where is this movie supposed to take place? I mean, I doubt its a real college, but even if its fictitious, the number of African-Americans at the school would depend on what type of school its mimicking. If its supposed to be similar to one of the SUNY's in and around the New York City area, there should definitely be more than 2. If its a small private school in Iowa on the other hand though, it might not be that far off.
Strangely enough there were no:
Fat girls
Goth girls
Muslim girls
Hinduist girls
Amish girls
Nuns
Squaws
etc.
also there were no representative from the individual nature-tribes in south america present, and we didn't see any japanese schoolgirls either. By the way, you can stop crying about it ("it" refering to: your category of traits not being represented to it's full extent) now.
Light travels faster than sound,
that's why people seem bright,
until you hear them.
it all depends on where you go to college.
i went to NH and there were a total of 7 minorites in the school:
2 asian girls
2 asian guys
1 hispanic guy (from ecquador)
2 black girls
2 black guys (which includes me)
this is the WHOLE school, i checked with commuter students and grad students for a story i did for the paper. so this movie, not so hard to believe.
