Yeah, he doesn't even appear to be a feminist, he's just the lesser of three evils. He's just as misogynistic as the other two men in the movie, stereotyping and objectifying all the women he meets, he's just less blunt about it.
In fact, the only scene in the film that even had the potential to be enlightening was the face off between him and the abusive boyfriend, where he asks if bad guys know they're bad. The abusive boyfriend rightly calls out the protagonist for being a bad guy, but our authoritative narration glosses over it, and explains to us that the abuser is the REAL bad guy. I mean, he just completely violates the privacy and boundaries of 100 women on a daily basis, but he doesn't ABUSE them. He's honestly making all sexes out to be bad, acting like all we can expect as women is a guy is just manipulative and deceitful, but doesn't slap us around. We should be HAPPY about this and congratulate the "nice guys" of the world for being less bad than some other men.
We need a man to explain ourselves to us, fix our lives, fight our battles, and schmooze us with lies about how they'll completely change their personalities in order to be with us. That's the moral of the story. How are men watching this movie and not being just as offended as women? Oh right, because they're the ones who are exactly like the protagonist and fantasize about all women bowing down to their infinite wisdom based in stereotypes too. Such a horribly disgusting movie on so many levels. I'm more angry about this direct to video piece of trash than I have been at a film in a very long time.
