The opening credits scream Tony Scott

I wonder if Tony did the opening credits sequence as a favor to Ridley, it has his signature all over it, nearly identical to that of Man on Fire and very similar to many of his other works in both editing as well as aesthetic, or maybe Ridley structured it that way as paying homage to his brother’s filming style.

What do y’all think? I’ve seen Hannibal countless times and just put all this together. I know I’m on to something here.

btw, this isn’t a complaint, just an observation, I’m a fan of the film and imo the opening credits were very well done.
