Just my opinion but I really found this movie to be quite enjoyable, I know the dialogue could of been better but that didn't bother me so am I the only one who likes this movie?

I don't consider it part of the "true" Jason universe but definitely enjoy it for the dumb fun that it is (even if it boasts some of the most cringeworthy dialogue of the series). It reminds me of Jason Lives in that it doesn't take itself too seriously.
shareI just find it dull. None of the characters are very interesting to me. I don't really care much for movies that take place in space either otherwise I'd be a fan of science fiction rather than horror.
shareYes, the characters were a major bore, but I did feel bad for 'this sucks on so many levels' girl when and the way she died. She deserved better.

I enjoyed it and I am no Friday the 13th fan. It was a good comedy that didn't take itself seriously and mocked a genre.
I may never watch another Friday the 13th movie again, but I would watch this one. It works well on its own.

shareThis is one of those sequels that reeks of desperation. FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VIII is another example. Placing the character in a different setting didn't hide the lack of fresh ideas. JASON was already immortal and super strong, so UBER JASON was a completely unnecessary addition to the franchise.

I didnt love it, but I enjoyed it. It was a fun twist on the franchise and was more creative than some of the sequels that came before it.

The thing with this movie is its not a friday the 13 movie this like jason goes to hell arent friday the 13 movies now with that said we had 8 movies that are friday movies then after those 8 they wanted to do different stuff an spice it up an in doing so they made films with jason that arent friday the 13 films now that is why fans dont like jason goes to hell an x is because they arent friday the 13 films an dont try to be jason goes to hell is a demonic spirit killer movie like shocker or hidden an jason x is a comedy both of these movies arent bad they just arent friday the 13 films if you as a fan can be ok with the fact these arent traditional friday films they are good films for what they are they are new takes on jason jason x is a fun comedy
