Gosh I miss those days of my life, playin' SNES RPG games, but I simply got my memories back by downloading a SNES Emulator and the best SNES RPG games are:
Chrono Trigger
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past
Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III in the USA)
Final Fantasy IV
Illusion of Gaia
Secret of Mana
These are the memorable SNES RPG games I've ever played
While I agree A Link to the Past is not an RPG (I always classified it with "Adventure"), since everyone else is listing it I'll put it in my list as well:
1) FF 2/4
2) FF 3/6
3) Zelda, LTTP
4) Chrono Trigger (would be higher, but I beat it the first time in like 15 hours)
5) Secret of Mana
I remember way back when arguing that Link to the Past was an RPG, now I would say it is an adventure game.
In no particular order.
1. Chrono Trigger.
2. Final Fantasy 6
3. Terranigma (Actually the third in the series)
4. Final Fantasy 5
5. Earthbound.
6. Secret of Mana
7. Seiken Densetsu 2.
8. Shadowrun. (I'm shocked this is the first time someone has mentioned this classic game)

Well I haven't played them all but here are the ones that I own:
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana
Secret of Evermore
Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire II
Lufia: Fortress of Doom
The first 5 listed I found all at the same time, with boxes & instruction manuals in each one, and they were all $5.00-$8.00 each!!!
Lufia, on the other hand, was just the game in a green FuncoLand case, and it was about 30 bucks, but well worth it.
There was another game there called Soulblazer I think, but I passed it up. Same thing with A Link to the Past. There were 2 used copies of that one! But never got it and I regret it to this day.
And just a couple years ago I finally bought the very first Final Fantasy for the NES, on Ebay, I haven't played that one barely at all yet, and it's the only one from the huge series I've played!

My advice is check ebay. They sell for about US$10 and up depending on condition and booklets and whatnot.
If you want to sell it, I think ebay is going to be your best bet (unless you know someone who will buy it from you personally). You could also try craigslist.com .

By far the best RPG on SNES is Terranigma without a doubt. I recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the previous titles listed

Seriously Crono told me about it - Its wicked man - He likes playing it. He got in trouble by his sponsor (Squaresoft) for playing it. Poor guy. Thats why he isnt in Part 2.
But thats beside the point. Basically Terranigma is the shizzle in tha dizzle.
