The new man show hosts
Im watching the new man show now and the new hosts are terrible. It seems vey akward when they tell jokes and the first sketch was not funny. I will never watch it again

shareYou guys are uncultured. For one, I've been a huge fan of doug stanhope for as long as I can remember. He's a brilliant comedian. From his site, I'm going to quote a few things:
"The first few episodes of The Man Show are going to be the weak sh*t, so live with it"
that's actually all of it. I can't defend Joe Rogan, though. he's a douchebag, and unfunny. His standup material is terrible.

Well at least hes honest. The first episode was weak... and i think that if one of the hosts isnt funny then the show can not be funny

Stanhope and Rogan are infinitely more funnier/clever than Kimmel and Corolla. If you think differently, youre more wrong than abusing a spastic.
I agree with "Duct-Tape4". Stanhope is one funny F**ker. Always has been, always will be. Alot of the stuff they wanted to do was veto'd by the legal department.
I worked on the new Man SHow and let me just clue you in.
Most of the writers are ex-SNL writers so ther will be a lot more sketch comedy and less ipromtu making fun of people on the street (i.e. Man show boy)
And yes, Doug was right, the first few episodes are really weak, live with it.
Just watch, it gets better. I know Joe Rogan isn;t funny at all but DOug makes up for it trust me.

I agree with Jefthecheff. The new hosts aren't funny anymore. Adam and Jimmy were the trademarks of the show, and of course, the juggies. But it's just not the same anymore. It doesn't flow like it used to. Joe Rogan should just keep his ass on Fear Factor, where he belongs. The hosting of the new hosts just isn't natural, it doesn't look like a skit show anymore, but like a stand-up show. The show back in the days with Adam and Jimmy flowed and went along.

shareI'll admitt, i never really watched the show. But when I did, it was the old hosts. Joe Rogan is funny and all, like in Newsradio, but not in this. He's just plain awful. And I even forgot who that other doofus was.
Also, if I should fall, remember what you see here.
wut about the juggies?? the juggies?! i heard the juggies changed... i dont live in the usa, so they're still playing the episodes with adam and jimmy.
sharePeople didn't like it when John Stewart took over The Daily Show either...give it some time. I have seen Stanhope do his live act many times. He is funny. He is quick witted and slick on delivery. Rogan was the same way when he was doing stand up.
shareYeah, but see, Craig Kilborn is a douche. Jon Stewart is actually funny, and I for one wasn't sure if I could go through one more episode of the Daily Show with him. I jumped for joy when they got rid of Kilborn.
As for the Man Show, it's just meh now. Stanhope is a funny guy, but Rogan tries far too hard. There's just nothing between the two like there was with Adam and Jimmy, it's just led the show down the drain. I wasn't too optimistic when they promo'd the new show, I watched the first few episodes and gave up on it. It's just not what it used to be.

I think Joe Rogan is the worst thing to ever happen to comedy central, well at least since Reno 911.
Doug could handle this show if he was paired with a host who had a sence of humor instead of trying to hard.
They got it right the first time around by pairing up two otherwise moderatly funny comics (Jimmy and Adam) and making them hilarious. But Joe Rogan isn't even a little funny, he just sucks.
I just wish he would go back to Fear Factor and stay.

I couldn't agree more, Jimmy and Adam set the tone for that show and the new guys are terrible. I was really hopeful that it would bomb enough to bring them back but Jimmy has his own agenda now and I doubt he would do it. It's funny how the always show an older episode before the new one's just to try to get people to watch.

The new Man Show sucks. Period. Plus, RedWings91 is right, it seems like Joe and Doug focus WAY too much on male genitalia. That's not something that the "Man Show" fans want to see, other than in occasional jokes. Also, Joe Rogan is way too loud and obnoxious to make a good host.

What's funny is going back on this thread and reading people trying to defend Rogan, Stanhope, and the writing ("no, no, the writers are ex-SNL writers and there's going to be sketch comedy! It's going to be funny! Give it time!").
LOL - yeah, it was so hilarious, a once-good show got sh*tcanned barely a year after the new guys took over. Nice.
