Coach McGuirk's Shining Moments

I don't know how many he's had, but there have been moments where John McGuirk has shown some signs of being a good guy. Like the episode with Fenton's party where he defends Fenton's mother.

Can anyone else think of some?

"That's the karma again, I didn't help Kenny so she beat me up with a telephone"

One of my all time favorite scenes is the time he orders the swords and he's in the grocery store trying to trade the swords for food, all while slinging around a sword......priceless....

FREEZE!! No seriously stop...this is awful.

It never seems to take much to get him to help with one of the kids' projects, even if he does protest a little. I actually think the time he spraypainted the school and tried to frame his assistant was his dumba** way of caring, because he was so jealous.

He did have his helpful moments. One that comes to my mind is from 'Shore Leave':
Melissa is escaping from the fairy princesses and Brendon is escaping from Fenton's house. Coach McGuirk almost his them with his car, but then gives them a ride (aiding in the escapes lol) and takes Brendon, Jason and Melissa to get ice cream. That was cool.

Coach McGuirk drunk in the library..in his trunks and swimcap and bleeding from the head.

"Yes, he's a regular Freddie Wilson, that one."

The camp episode where he's running away from people who want to hug him, the ending is priceless.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned "I'll Race" in "Bye Bye Greasy". Then again, I'm just now discovering how good Home Movies was with On Demand.

Just play the music! Gladys!

Huh, huh huh... I'll race!
To feel the wind on my face
And I'll race!
To feel alive
And I'll race!
To feel like I own this place
And I'll race until I die
And I'll race against the other racers!
And I'll race with one big shout!
And I'll race against the clock
And I'll race against myself...
And I'll race... and I'll race...

...aaaaaaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Race!
