Did anyone think George was a jerk for leaving?

He thought his little relationship with Erin and the kids would be all fun and laughs, but the minute life happened (having to work long hours, his girlfriend coming home tired and cranky) he decided he was bored and just walked out.

Can't blame him! She was gone all the time, sticking him with those ugly, annoying little *beep* of hers 24/7. I'm surprised he didn't kill himself after putting up with that *beep* That baby is the ugliest looking thing & all it did was scream & cry! George should have been *beep* crazy after going through all of that!

He is a normal human. It's obvious he felt used and exploited by Erin. Probably thought about it for many weeks to find a reason why to do that. He didn't find such reason, so he left.

Happens all the time. You decide to leave as soon as you need a reason to go on.

BTW, it seemed like George was expecting Erin to say that she loved him and blah blah blah, but Erin just stayed quiet and let him go.

U know I . Was thinking the same thing. If u live someone u stay by there side no matter wat or at least for her kids. I think he was selfish he knew wat he was going in for. She worked b4 they were together.

George wasn't a jerk at all, he was nothing more than a free baby-sitter for Erin for six months and she never showed her appreciation for him. That's why he left. The movie shows how Erin was often her own worst enemy with her bombastic, selfish, defensive attitude.
