Lindsay - rebellious phase slowly fades out as she matures. Still hangs out with the Freaks, but focuses more on schooling, and graduates with an excellent record. Goes on to major in one of the STEM fields at a good college, struggles a bit with being a woman in a male-dominated field. Gets hired to do interesting projects, marries a kind and successful man also in STEM when in her late 20s, has a couple of kids and lives a comfortable life. Likes to do outdoor sports with the family on holidays.
Sam - Never has a rebellious phase, but gradually becomes less awkward as he matures. Graduates with good grades and goes on to major in geology/archaeology, becomes a science teacher at high school, marries in his 30s and lives a comfortable middle-class life.
Neil - does well academically, majors in law, and makes a good living working for a small, private law firm. Has one bad marriage that ends in divorce, marries again and happily. Has a kid from the first marriage and two from the second. Is slightly neurotic and has a mid-life crisis that his second marriage pulls him out of.
Bill - Becomes more athletic, and is well-liked by many by the end of high school, while achieving pretty good academic results. Learns programming and ends up in a lucrative job as a software developer/ game designer. Marries in his late 20s and has 4 kids, they all have fun playing together.
Nick - Graduates, but just barely. Does a year of military service, comes home, and starts as a trainee in retail. Eventually grows to a middle management position, while playing in a band and doing small shows as a hobby. Marries a cute music store manager he meets at a rock concert, they have 2 kids. She's cool because she lets him hang with the guys, and teaches him be more assertive about his goals. When the kids grow up and move out, they retire and buy a farm together.
Daniel - Graduates with terrible grades. After several tries, completes training and becomes a light & sound technician at a local broadcasting company. His natural charm gets him discovered and cast in a middlebrow comedy show. After a couple of seasons, he spends a month in jail for petty crime, and that together with his flakiness gets him booted off the show. He spends a while being down and depressed, renting terrible apartments, drinking, and sleeping around, until one of the women he's seeing, who's in love with him, gets him another acting gig. He vows to clean up his act, marries the woman and commits to his career. Reaches enough status and makes enough connections in the industry to stay a working actor for the rest of his life. His wife dies ten years later, and he dates young starlets. Near the end of his life, is visited by a person who turns out to be the kid from a random hook-up that Daniel has never met previously. Spends the rest of his life bonding with and being taken care of by said kid.
Kim - Becomes a hair dresser. Has a few boyfriends that all end badly, until in her 30s she meets a martial arts instructor from Europe, and moves there with him for a fresh start. Works part-time doing administrative work for her husband's martial arts school, part-time raises their 2 kids. Has problems with alcohol abuse, and has to spend several months in rehab, but ultimately gets it somewhat under control. Rages that her adult life is boring, but secretly appreciates the stability that her family provides.
Ken - Breaks up with Amy as they go their separate ways. Graduates with below-average grades and works part-time at his dad's firm for a while, helping out with menial tasks. Grows increasingly frustrated with that job and quits, goes on a road trip across the U.S., makes some connections, and works as a roadie for a while. Returns home, works for his dad again, but in a better position than last time. Eventually the leaves the firm to someone else, but gives Ken a small share in the profits. Ken uses the money to start his own bar. Never marries, but eventually has a kid with his on-and-off girlfriend, and settles down with them.
