How many people were forced to watch this in rehab?
I'll start the count--1!
shareCount 2 ;)
shareThey made us watch Leaving Las Vegas. Movie was so depressing I wanted to top myself when it was over, but I stopped drinking, so maybe there was some good in there.
share3, we weren't forced but it was one of the only movies in the lounge, it made me laugh so much because we were doing everything that they did in the movie.
God, grant me the serenity....
4. Not forced. But strongly encouraged. Leaving Las Vegas was banned because of the dismal end. I guess because that's the route we were all heading anyway.
I was never forced to see it and didn't see it rehab but I've been though rehab and this movie is a surprisingly accurate depiction of that experience. I've been clean for some time now and recently re-watched this movie. This time around I picked up on all the details I missed on the first time, and with clean time under my belt now the entire movie strongly reminds me of my own experiences. Excellent movie. Still can't bring myself to watch Leaving Las Vegas.
shareHA ha ha ha!!
I was forced to watch it twice!
Not very like my rehab, well apart form the abstinence part......
7. we were also forced to watch "the boost" "ordinary people", "clean and sober" and for some reason "Boys on the Side"
No dessert Jerri. Don't touch the dog. DON'T rub your feces on the lamp shade.
The only reason I could see Boys on the Side being played at rehab is most likely because it deals with the subject of AIDS.
