What are some other good vampire movies like this?
shareThe granddad of vampire movies and still the best one IMO, is the silent german film Nosferatu (1922) directed by Murnau.
There is also a pretty good remake directed by Werner Herzog in the 70's called Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht.
Guillermo del Toro directorial debut it's also good approach to vampirism, albeit quite different from your typical Dracula film.
Blade II is without any doubt the best vampire movie based on a comic-book.
Finally you gotta mention "Blacula!" it's sooo bad that actually it's good!
try Nightwatch (Nochnoi Dozor) and Daywatch (Dvenznoy Dozor)
shareI cant believe nobody mentioned The Lost Boys. That is one of my favorite movies - period. But maybe its the sense of nostalgia. I absolutely love that movie.
shareJohn Carpenter´s "Vampires"(realy original title there) is a pretty good underrated vampire movie in my opinion.The 3rd Underworld movie is also good even tough the first and second ones where crap.

Gosh, you seem to be the only one who named a movie LIKE BLADE II. The OP asked for similar movies and I came on here looking for the same (IMDB has a horrible setup for recommendations). A lot of other people seemed to recommend comedies and other odd vampire flicks nothing like Blade II. I was looking for more movies like this and John Carpenter's Vampires.
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of other movies out there quite like this (mixing horror with action or having competent fighters/warriors/soldiers facing off against the undead).
Not quite the same, but The Horde is very similar to Blade in tone and action. And there's also Vampires: Los Muertes, but the ending kind of sucked.
