just too unbelieveable....

for a story like this they should have tried to make it a comedy instead of taking it serious...honestly i couldn't take it serious...i turned it off after an hour.

I never did see AF, but, SC wasn't much better - pure science fiction, since, as NASA found out with Columbia, even the smallest amount of damage can be catastrophic during reentry...

They don't call Hollywood "The Dream Factory" for nothing, apparently...

It should have been funnier - can't help but feel that the premise wasn't really milked enough for comedy. And on the other hand, when things got serious out in the space, Eastwood was totally incapable of raising the intensity level so it would have registered as a formidable nail-biter. So, from whichever end you look at it, it's a very lukewarm affair that never quite takes off, let alone makes it to the orbit.

Well, I enjoyed it. Who says film has to be realistic? If that is your one 'check' on good films than why bother even watching anything.

Couldn't pick this for not being a comedy. Are you serious? You must be so much fun at parties.
