Not that bad, I think. Going it to it all these years after it was released I was actually presently surprised.
Its strange titled camera shooting gave it an odd and out-worldly dream feel to it which serves it well. Indeed it is not masterpiece and no blockbuster by any means, but for what it is, I think I would go as far as to recommend it.
The story and final brawl is pretty cool.
Exactly, it’s not that bad really. I just finished rewatching it on Netflix again and had a pretty good time watching it. It’s not boring. So what if the aliens have cheese dialogues, who knows how they would conduct themselves in real life. Was everyone wishing it to be a documentary? I don’t understand all the hate. It made me smile and laugh along with the villains. And there was a lot of laughing in the movie done by Travolta and others. This movie is not violent and you can see it with your whole family. At least it’s a good kid’s fantasy film on the Sunday afternoon and not much worse than others. I rated it 7/10 on imdb.
