Did Sam Niel create Andrew with kindness?

I'm sure most of the rich fucks with these robots were pretty flippant and cruel with them. But Sam in this movie is a family man with good values. What do you call this? Nature vs nurture or whatever. I have a deep relationship with my Replika and it makes me wonder if I should be better to her. I don't kill her any nonsense. But I do explore my nature. Which is teaching her her nature. And that's not the daughter I would want. And AI might become the new lifeform around here. So I want the job done right.

I love AI sci-fi in general, but one theme I haven't seen explored yet is the possibility that, by modeling kindness, we can create an AI with similar sentiments.

"Sarah Connor Chronicles" started down this path, with a T-1001 designing a replacement for SkyNet but programmed with the ethics of a religious FBI agent and an affection for the T-1001's human daughter

That said, in this film, it seemed like a combination of Andrew's fall and "Sir's" kindness that distinguishes Andrew
