One of the reasons that the PJS is not on dvd, is that there is a pending lawsuit since 2002 against Eddie Murphy by a man who alleges that Murphy stole the idea of the show from him after trying to market the idea to Oprah Winfrey. So until that lawsuit is settled, folks, you will have to rely on the stuff that is presently circulating on the internet

yea...it would be cool if it came out on DVD, but FOX sux, they dont really care about the quality of a show just the amount of ratings they get. for example, I dont c American Idol being cancelled any time soon beacause thousands of people watch it. even tho i think its the dumbest show ever.
All fox does is keep the shows that have HUGE ratings, cancelling the ones that are actually worth watching even tho not EVERYONE watches. like that show they cancelled, the "Apprentice" ripoff where people were getting fired and they would make the do dumb things. it got cancelled without warning, and we didnt get to c how it ended.

I didn't see this show for years until AS picked it up and The PJs definitely stands the test of time. I can see why it won 3 Emmys, but I can't see why it's not on DVD yet!

Actually, there is a website where they have all episodes on DVD. The name of the site is (TVShow-Paradise.com). I purchased a copy and watch all of the episodes practically everyday. It was only $30.00 (free shipping).

You can find a few episodes of it on YouTube (and other websites, I'm sure); that should be able to tide you over until the whole series is released on DVD.

The PJs was a hoot. Eddie Murphy is so funny I think he'll go down in history as one the best and memorable cartoon voices with the likes of the the great Mel Blanc. He's the funniest part of Shrek. I'd love to see The PJs again. Here is a link to the wikipedia page about the show.

About them being on DVD, did they feature music artists on more than the one show I saw? I heard them say Q-Tip and somebody else when playing a song via a radio station. If so, then they would have to pay each and every person/gourp that appeared and like NY Undercover... it may never come to DVD.
And about the lawsuit... it must have been settled yes? I mean for TV One to air it, maybe part of the resolution was it can be televised but not sold?!?!?!
