Just yesterday I found and bought Volume 1 DVD set if Season 1 and 2 of Family Guy and I started thinking and wondering.
Wasn't the show supposed to end with Season 2 or at least Season E years ago?
I think it just got canceled and then came back.
shareIt got cancelled after season 3 but it gained so much popularity in reruns and dvd that they brought it back. If you watch the premiere episode of season 4, it begins with Peter telling the family they've been cancelled, and when asked if there's any hope he runs down a long list of shows that had started and failed on Fox in the time they were away and says "if all those shows fail, maybe we have a chance..." - cut to opening credits.
shareI enjoy cartoons more than regular shows. Been binging on Bojack but i got so sick of it becuase personal issues and before my computer broke down I watch a few episodes from the.new season.
Family.guy I get annoyed by certain episodes, for personal reasons but also becuase not all episodes are quality. But I always come back and.enjoy certain episodes.
Me, I still think Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are still funny while the other seasons tend to go overboard with pop culture sight gags etc.
Season 3 Ill probably get anyway since it it still has a few really funny old episodes.
I think its when Season 4 or 5 the should was overdoing it and they should have known back then that they should have ended Family guy with Season 2 or at least Season 3
