This is an interesting thread. I have talked about this a few times with people. I have never met anyone else in person who has watched this show since the very beginning like I have. Everyone I have met didn't start watching the show until it came back on in season 4 in 2005. But I see a few others posting here about my age who say they watched from the beginning.

I remember watching it in college after the Super Bowl my freshman year in 1999. I loved it but then it became really hard to watch it. Fox would air it on different days and at different times. I had to get a TV Guide to find out when it was going to be on. I remember it being on one week like at 8:00 PM on a Tuesday and then the next week being on 9:30 PM on a Friday. Once it was cancelled I bought the DVD sets and I ended up taking them with me to training for a new job in 2004. One night I played them for a guy and he laughed his ass off at the show. Each night more and more coworkers would show up in the room to watch the DVDs. By the end of the week the hotel room was packed and everyone was loving the show. No one had ever heard of the show or seen it and they all kept asking me where the hell I found this show and bought these DVDs.

Hopefully I inspired people to buy more DVDs and watch Cartoon Network back then and contributed to the show being brought back.
