Terminator 3 vs Salvation

The fact that this movie has a lower rating than Terminator Salvation is ridiculous. Of course, that's just my opinion.

T3 is slightly better than Salvation. Neither are all that good though, at the very least they pale in comparison to the first 2.

Okay,i didnt seen Terminator & Terminator 2 yet,but i think this movie is pretty good.

Salvation on other hand is terrible. While this still feels like a likable film made by humans,Salvation feels like some CGI misery. The people who acted here reminds me of Google's Deep Mind more than human beings. And the visuals look like a fantasy film more, and a bad one.

Totally agreed. Salvation marketing was much higher than T3. It expenses really great actors and a poor, terrible script, it mixed the Matrix and Mad Max saga and only the quotes from the Terminator movies.
Terminator 3 didn't solved anything about the Terminator saga but at least made sense, and knew how to tell it's history.

I'd go with T3.

At least T3 never pretended to be more than a fun scifi/action movie.

Salvation was supposed to take place in the future. The future we know from T1 and T2 and it was something a lot of fans wanted to see. What we did get however was some sort of Transformers movie starring Bale.

Bale, the man who went crazy on set and started yelling at the DOP. The DOP is - besides the director - the second in command.

Getting angry over a stupid movie, lol.

So, T3, because it lacks the pretention TS has.

I'm just on my way up to Clavius.

I actually really loved Salvation (brought the fight against Skynet as a major focal point of the film, Christian Bale was great as John Connor, solid performances by Sam Worthington, Bryce Dallas Howard, Anton Yelchin and even the always great Michael Ironside, along with a consistent, gritty and harsh tone to the film). T3 was good as well, though I hated the uneven tone and some of the dialogue (wasn't a big fan of Claire Danes, but Arnold and Stahl more than made up for that, and Kristanna Loken was pretty good as the sexy and sinister T-X).

Overall, I'd prefer Salvation for not rehashing old plots, but T3 is still a very watchable entry in the series, and I still have a lot of good memories of it.

T3 is easily the worst film in the franchise

Terminator 3 for me. it's the lesser evil.

I used to think Salvation for sure.

But I think I would go with T3 now.

I still think Claire Danes and Nick Stahl should not have been involved.

This would have helped a little bit more for enjoyment.
