I love this movie, I know it's not perfect, but I laugh every time I watch it. It's a great entertaining flick, and the cast do a great job in my opinion. Anyone with me?

You know something? I think it gets vastly better as the movie goes on. The concept at the start was good but the execution was weak. The part where he dressed up as a pizza delivery guy was 100% the most unfunny thing ever, and that's when it hit the worst point. From then on, it was extremely good. It's like they figured it out better as they were going along.

I wouldn't say it's one of the most enjoyable movies ever, but it was fun and a bit underrated.

Blue Streak - 8/10
Sucker Punch - 6/10

This is one of those films that you can always watch and never get bored of it. That's the true sign of a good comedy.

you're so right. i f'ing love blue streak. i'm not the biggest martin lawrence fan out there, but he absolutely KILLS it in this. dave chapelle's scenes are incredible, too.. and when the two of them are together, it's just gold.

every little thing martin does in this movie is hysterical.. in particular most of the time he's pretending to be a cop and trying to get out of doing cop stuff and get back to the precinct (and the evidence room)..

the scene where he's whining about luke wilson's slow driving cause he's in such a hurry is freakin awesome, culminating in one of the funniest moments ever on film.. "you mind if i drive? i know a shortcut. ...you might want to buckle up." followed by them not just going over a hill at top speed, but basically flying the car over a cliff at max speed, hahahahahaha.. i literally can't help but LAUGH out loud even if i'm by myself whenever i THINK about this scene!! it's the best.

(close 2nd is dave chapelle's "stone cold killer" face & lines.

"i'm bad. i'm bad, baby! i'll rip your lips off! and kiss my ASS with them *beep*

"i'll rip your TONGUE out! and lick my baaaallllls with 'em!"

"blue streak" & "the other guys" are my two favorite comedies possibly ever.

I agree - this movie kinda got lost in the myriad of great movies that came out in 1999, but it's a great comedy with a solid leading cast & good writing. Underrated. 8/10

I agree with you all.

I've seen this movie so many times. I'm not a big fan of Martin Lawrence outside of The Bad Boys movies and ofc this.....and in this one he's so hilarious. Very enjoyable. Makes up for the rest of his, shall we say, lackluster career.

And Dave Chapelle! *beep* yeah!

This movie may be the closest any movie has ever gotten to fully showcasing Martin Lawrence 90's repertoire of physical comedy.

Martin Lawrence, in my opinion, was the only actor/comedian that could ever come close to going head-to-head with EARLY 90's Jim Carrey physical comedy.

It just sucks that Martin can't do that stuff anymore, and he went on to do much lazier films. His TV show was always kind of hit and miss, but that and Blue Streak is pretty much where you'll see Martin at his best.
