How did Batman not figure out who she was though? I thought he was a detective.

Yvonne Craig will always be Batgirl to me. I'm curious what others do with it but nothing so far has lived up to Yvonne (RIP). The DCAU version was pretty good - particularly when Tara Strong took over the voice.

But Batgirl has long red hair and Barbara has short black hair? How could they be the same person?
