I like Denzel Washington a lot!
I was this movie and I felt its like a punch in the stomach :) very hard hitting.
I really liked Denzel Washington's performance in the movie. Do fans here consider this to be one of the best? if not, please tell me which ones.
I cannot believe that this movie isn't in the top 250.
Denzel is an amazing actor, but I don't think this is his best movie. "Glory" - he's amazing, especially his "whipping scene", where the camera focuses on his face and one tear comes down his cheek. "Training Day" - He's phenomenal in this role. "Antwone Fisher" - while a bit melodramatic, his performance shines.
If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.
@abhishes-572-40630.In my OPINION this is one of his best performances.However my favorite from him is Training Day.In that movie Denzel played a role we weren't use to seeing him in(same thing with Tom Cruise in Collateral).He was so ruthless and deceiving(finally playing a BAD guy).That was a well deserved best actor In a leading role Oscar.I can't stand the way SOME people(Not you guys) try to diminish his outstanding acting performance in Training Day.Good thing the academy didn't feel the same way as the people who belittle his performance.

shareI really liked Training Day and Crimson Tide. Courage Under Fire was really good. Malcolm X I can do without. Ricochet started off good but ended terribly. Glory was very good.
I did enjoy watching The Hurricane. But after learning about its falsehoods, I don't think I'll be recommending it.
I certainly hope not!
