Shawnee Smith..
is so adorable in the show,I didn't realize it was the same actress from the Saw movies!(not that she wasn't hot in Saw,just so totally different!)

she was also in Stephen King's epic movie The Stand. played a crazy girl.
shareyeah,I could picture her playing that! she`s one of those actors who seemed to have popped out of nowhere, but has been around for a while.I should find a copy of the Stand because I`m curious to see her in that..

Shawnee's a very gifted actress. To see how funny she was in Becker and then see her be this evil character in the Saw franchise is awesome to see. She pulled off both roles so well.
Of course The Blob remake and The Stand are 2 other projects she was great in.
The preciding comment has been paid for by the New World Order
Err, her part in Becker was quite evil a lot too.
Only the "harmless evil" or nasty kind.
But it was not hard to imagine the actress could pull of "real evil" in some different movie as well.

I always remember her from an episode of the X-Files.
I own the Jelena Jankovic board

The X-Files episode was "Firewalker," broadcast in late 1994.

Hell yeah, Shawnee Smith is a hottie! She was cast in Saw because the writer had a bit of a crush on her and wanted her in the movie so he could meet her. Makes me want to write a screenplay too, Id have to ask Reggie to join us also!
shareTo me, she will always be the smart ass teen from the short lived TV sitcom shown in the summer of 1986...All Is Forgiven.
Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!
it must have been short lived,I never heard of it! any pictures?

Shawnee was a child actor. I didn't know her name for the longest time, but I've known her face for what seems like forever. In the '80s she was in "Annie," "Iron Eagle," "Summer School," the aforementioned "All Is Forgiven," the short-lived Barbara Eden Disney series "A Brand New Life" and the remakes of "I Saw What You Did" and "The Blob," amongst other things. And weirdly, she really doesn't look much different now than she did in 1988.
zoolander27, there's some cast pics for "All Is Forgiven" here:

She also plays the ex-wife character in Charlie Sheen's crappy show, Anger Management. She was and still is one hot woman. Her portrayal of the ditsy Lina on Becker was classic, and quite out of the norm for such an intelligent actress.
shareshe's even hotter now on Anger Management. Her tail has gotten a lot juicier.
Take your pinche color-coordinated sponsored chingada and take a flying fck
Actually Linda isn't just ditzy but quite a complicated character. The way she thinks is showing some traits of autistic behaviour.
She has an incredible low self esteem which made her attracted to the wrong guys and couldn't maintain a relationship.
She might have suffered sexual abuse from an uncle as a child (mentioning him always kissing her on the mouth and Margaret saying that's why she never visiting Thanksgiving at home)
She lives in an expensive apartment looking out at Central Park in New York but it's owned by her parents who constantly neglect her and she knows it's a prison and a constant reminder that she's nothing and would never be able to find even a crummy place to call her own.
On the other hand she's a math wizard (showing off her head counting abilities in one episode) and is a fast learner (casually reading a medical journal and then being able to reproduce the medical terms)
Linda has also often shown she can perfectly run the practice on her own when Margaret is gone but , as she said in her own words: "I'm that little tyre that will get you to the next gas station, but it's a really bad idea to drive it cross country"
I really love the Linda character.
And of course it doesn't hurt either that Shawnee Smith looks incredible.
I remember she showed up for work in a completely see through shirt braless and they blurred it out. I curse the blur
Oh My God! They Killed Kenny!
You bastard!
I met her a few years ago at a HorrorCon, and she laughed when I brought up Iron Eagle and Summer School. I took a picture with her, and I was afraid that I was going to break her when I put my arm around her because of how small that she was.
shareWas it censored when it first aired?
shareThe first time I remember seeing her was in a commercial advertisement for a TV movie “I Saw What You Did” in 1988 with Tammy Lauren.
