WHY WHY WHY WAS A MALE INTERVIWING BRANDON ABOUT THE RAPE

COME ON! EVEN IN THE 90'S I'M SURE THEY HAD ENOUGH COMMON SENSE TO LET FEMALE OFFICERS HANDLE RAPE VICTIMS! ESPECIALLY THE HORRIBLE DETAILS! WHY DIDNT BRANDOM ASK FOR A FEMALE OFFICER?????? AND THIS WASNT ANY MALE OFFICER, THIS WAS A NASTY REDNECK TEA PARTY REPUBLICAN TYPE!!!!!!

I LOVE TEXAS

reply

There were no female officers in the town

This was evidently a pretty dim witted small town. But then again, most small towns are.

reply

WOW... judge much??

Your statement is ridiculous and offensive. It's like you're saying that everyone from or living in a small town is stupid. Really????

News flash for you: by far, the vast majority of communities in America are small towns. Small town life has little to nothing to do with intelligence. It has to do with people who want a more simple, easy-going way of living, away from the collective stress and complexity found in larger cities.

Seriously, stop spreading hate and ignorance by posting outlandish, wide-sweeping statements about something you obviously know nothing about.

I agree texxas-1, about having a man (& i use the word "man" loosely),interview her about the rape. I own the movie & biograpghy dvd. The biography is about Brandon Teena, called "The Brandon Teena Story". It shows interviews of the real people in the movie, her friends, the rapists/murderer in prison, Brandon's mother and sister, that girl Lana. But staying on topic, the biograpghy has the actual interviews in it. I was SO appalled by the way that "detective", was interviewing her. WHAT he was asking her, just everything in general made me sick! If you are a really interested in this story & movie you definitely should see the biograpghy as well.

Omg! Please upload it onto youtube!

I have it on YouTube

Yeah, the movie is all wrong. It wouldn't even let Brandon have peace and Justice. It's a money grabber, that's all it is. Kimberly Pierce didn't care about Brandon. All she wanted was money. I wonder how the hell she was able to put it on without rights. Hell,Lana even tried to stop the film from being released. It should've been said it can't be released because they didn't have permission to use Lana's name. The REAL story is nothing like the movie. Nothing!!

I would upload it to youtube for you, no problem. I am not really sure how to do it at all. I'll try to look up how to do it & see if I can figure it out so you can see it, it really is outrageous.

To humiliate her more. It was known all over at that point about her gender. that was my take, especially hearing the real interview in Teena Brandon. They should have had least had a women in there with her.

I thought that was kind of disgusting they way they were speaking to her.

Brandon Teena identified himself as a man. He was transgender. So why does a female officer need to be in the room? Just because Brandon was raped, doesn't mean he just goes back to being a female and speaks to a female officer. That's not how being trans works. If that's the case then someone could just switch genders whenever they please depending on the scenario.
