Hell yeah we need a second season! cause there are a lot of things that dont match... how the hell kitana is alive in the movies and in the series she dies and shang tsung the same, and how raiden got out of outworld and got his powers back

Another season where Kung Lao actually throws his hat at someone! Yes the hat was only in the first episode(maybe he lost it)
Also they have to do the story line of him fighting with Goro in the next tournament until he is eventually deafeated.

seriously this series does need a second season it kept getting better and better then they canned it? that's a serious why the hell.
Bringing everyone back from the dead wouldn't be to out of the ordinary given johnny cages story in the games :P

Posting on here isn't going to help. For one, the show is 11 years old now. The hot, female actresses are kind of old have have kids now. On top of this, Mortal Kombat is dead. I hate to say it, I used to love it, but no one cares about it anymore. People are more interested in the UFC and mixed martial arts now a days.
If you wanted to really get a second series or sequel, write to Midway, New Line Cinema, and the TV networks. Get a real petition going that people can sign up for on a website. Make a promise to get 5,000 signatures on it and then take it to the networks. See what they think. Posting on IMDB isn't going to help!
