Lol, i think that too, how can an animated film be really scary?, i mean, how is this film rated Horror?
I'm agree that for little kids this is "Scary", but on animation genre, I think only 3D Animation films could give you nightmares.
So, Mr. Unknow, Did you selected this anonymus nick to put messages like that?
lol
I hate Scooby Doo, but this was a great cartoon. I love this and the witches ghost.

heh..I'd have to agree with that. It was pretty gross too..like when Fred refused to believe the one zombie was real and pulled the head right off and when the zombie got it back, put it back on his head wierdly..

My 5 and 3 year old rented this one and it was just a little too scary for them. Much more realistic than any other of the movies in the Scooby-Doo franchise. It seemed more real than the live action films. So I think this movie is more geared towards older kids, say 7-10 than the younger ones.

When I saw it ages ago I thought it was as scary as *beep*! Especially when Lena and Simone turned into werecats - "I have gotten away with it for 200 YEARS!"
shareYep, this one was terrifying.
shareI say when your 8-10 it should be good for you to watch, but under 8 and it will most likely freak you out for a while. I was 5 when I first saw it...lol
I know think it is one of the best Scooby movies made.
This is like the best Scooby Doo film of the entire francise. All others are garbage compared to this one.(with the exception of The Witch's Ghost, and the Alien Invaders)
shareI remember watching this when I was little as well... I didn't get an specific nightmares but it sure did scare me. I never understood Alien Invaders, Witch's Ghost scared the hell out of me when I was little, so much that I never watched it again unless it comes on and then I usually flip to another channel.
shareThis gets the nod because you can tell like mostly all other Scooby this one's plot is rarely ever played for laughs. It's that writing style that gave us some of those more serious SWAT KATS plots. Both have some humor to it to make it still feel HB but it puts the story over the humor in the gear.
Forever in the history of Scooby the humor was put over the story (which in the case of most Scooby was just a monster) The humor made some of the "scariness" of the monsters get weighed down. Let's be honest if some of those other Scooby monsters had their episodes played up like zombie island, i'm sure lots more kids would have been having nightmares about them.
I refuse to argue on IMDB until the general populous actually uses their brains
I saw this movie when I was about 5 or 6. It creeped me out but not enough that I didn't watch it several times. I was actually really surprised my parents let me watch it because they were pretty strict back then about what I watched. I think they actually told me I couldn't watch it anymore after they saw some of it but I don't remember. good movie though. I'd watch it again if I found it on YouTube or at the library.
