I hated Leah remini when Carrie was fat

There was no reason for that. I heard it was because Scientology heads wouldn't let her use any appetite suppressants

I think she was pregnant or had just had a baby in the episodes where she was heavier. She was back to her regular size by the last season if I remember correctly.

reply

Yes, from what I remember she was pregnant and then still had some baby weight to lose after she delivered.

Jesus, you "hate" a woman because she put on some weight (also, Leah Remini IS Carrie)? So, I assume you are in top physical conditioning since you're criticizing Leah Remini, who has been an actress and a model? I can only assume you're a male, right?

reply

Too bad you can't also assume this was a parody thread.

LOL

She's too thin on eps I am watching, such as Lou Ferigno next door..she has the core of a very nice figure,at the right weight she is a good jeans model, but she needs to let it breathe, therd is nothing even left down there at the moment foe them to cling to and show off...

Or, be allowed to allow it to breathe.
We all know what goes on with overslimming, they all get the idea that if they are not borderline eating disorder, they will be replaced...and that fear is not without justification.

Alyssa Milano fell into same trap on Charmed...but she offset it somewhat by working hard enough to have lean muscle in her arms and upper back etc, which looked good on her..but, as with Rimini, meanwhile, her hips and almost all of her can, even as much as she really needed to keep, had come off.

There is a trend in sitcoms where the writers make the women bullies supposedly for laughs, or crazy obsessive(usually about getting or being pregnant), supposedly for the humor. Usually the sitcom tanks within 2 seasons, a slow death. Maybe it's how the money people tank a sitcom so they can put their money into a reality show. Reality shows are cheaper to produce.

Demeaning sitcom wives are a tradition that goes all the way back to 1920s radio shows.

True, and she is married to a fat lovable everyman oaf, who lies and drinks and gets fatter

reply

At that point she was just a useless wet hole
