why so many people dont like this movie. A lot of people regard it as the worst in the original trilogy, but for me, I personally think this was better than TLW.

I feel the same way. Of course, neither was better than the original, but I feel this one is stronger than The Lost World. TLW just drug on for too long and wasn't as fun. This movie was short, to the point, and most importantly, fun. It also didn't try to shove an environmental message down your throat.

I think it basically comes down to whether you'd rather have a fun, simple dinosaur flick, or whether you'd rather have a more character driven movie with drama and a message. Of course, the original combined both of those things, which is why people like it the most.

The cast of the second one was too large. Tembo should've had a larger role. The third one had a tighter story.

kida no choice since if those messages arent shoved down your throat , you are going to walk arouind without a care for the millions of trees and animals killed every year because of ignorant people

I prefer TLW but I enjoy watching the whole trilogy. I'm also looking forward to Jurassic World.

This was actually my favorite sequel in the series, believe it or not. Obviously it didn't have Spielberg's touch, and the first movie was probably better overall, but I thought JP3 was thrilling, creative, and expanded the world in a completely unexpected way. That parachute/pteradactyl sequence is easily one of my favorite sequences in the entire series.

Cause its a very bad film. So bad that it almost killed the whole franchise.

Comparing The Lost World to JP3 is like comparing two awful deaths to each other and wondering which is preferable. Both are absolutely terrible.
I guess TLW at least had Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore to dull the pain, but that movie makes me want to put a shotgun in my mouth.
Meanwhile, while watching JP3, my brain wanted to leave my body because it was so insulted by the idiocy of this movie.

Face it. Jurassic Park did NOT spawn good sequels.

No way in hell that this was better than TLW. TLW had a plot that made sense, something Jurassic Park 3 does not have.

The plot was actually simple and made clear sense. So simple, in fact, that it's clearer than TLW's... maybe that's what you're complaining about. Very simple... too easy to follow. My only gripe with III is the parents.
