So if you make money doing something you love you're a sell out?

Cause that always seemed like what Gabi was saying in her little speech after she got hurt. She made it seem like if you do something because you love it at first but then if you try and make money off it you're a sell out.

Making money is one thing. They were all trying to make money when they entered the competition.

I think their idea of selling out is the fact that team X-Blades were paid to wear X-Blades gear and clothing. No one would wear that otherwise unless they were getting paid.

Yeah, I agree. The movie had a really bad image of professional skating. Brink was desperate for the money for his family and Gabriella had no sympathy to that. Also, his friends were selfish in that he had the opportunity to be the captain for team X-Blades and his friends were disappointed. Brink could have recruited his friends to the team and they would all make money. Why does it have to be between skating for fun and money? Can't it be both?

And I never liked the scene where everyone blamed Brink for Gabriella getting hurt. He tried to warn her and she didn't listen. What else could he have done?
