Season 2 had me falling in love with Julie Benz's Darla. She was sexy, scary, and seductive. She had this strength and confidence about her, yet remained an alluring woman. No wonder Angel snapped during that season xD

I actually prefer Kristy Swanson as Buffy, but Julie Benz would have knocked it outta the park to play Buffy. I could see how Angel would fall for her over Sarah Michelle Gellar. Imagine if Julie Benz played Buffy, and we got Kristy Swanson as Darla!
But Julie Benz brought something special to Darla, she was perfect in that role.
Julie Benz would have been a very pretty Buffy, I always found her the most beautiful actress from Buffy and Angel and that’s some stiff competition!
Kristy Swanson would have made a great Darla too, it’s a shame she never made a guest appearance in either Angel or Buffy, I wonder if they ever considered that.

I think Kristy Swanson just moved on from it. I found it respectful and refreshing when Sarah Michelle Gellar answered the question "When will we see a Buffy movie"? with "There already is one! Kristy Swanson, and its a good movie".
Julie is beautiful but her face is maybe a little "cold" for the role of Buffy. An innocent and warm face is more suited for Buffy probably

But I did look up the first two you listed and they do look like a good Buffy. I know the first girl from the netflix movie "The Silence" and I prefer that movie over the ultra-hyped "A Quiet Place".
Zendaya is a plank of wood, dont like her in anything Ive seen her in yet. She doesnt even look like Buffy.
All said and done, we dont need remakes of everything.
