I agree.

I like Buffy, but have rewatched Angel way more times.

I feel like the further you are done with highschool, the harder it is to enjoy Buffy. Whereas Angel was an Adult show from the get go.

Agreed 100%, I can still re-watch Angel as a whole and love the series. Buffy has some elite episodes for sure, but as a whole, I just can't anymore.

The two episodes that stood out for me was the Xander special episode where we follow him and he saves the day. And of course "Hush" which is critically acclaimed as awesome. Also I remember some tidbits of dialogue and some scenes, but its not enough to get me to rewatch Buffy either. Adolescence is over, no need to revisit it.

The later seasons were better, Buffy's Scooby Gang grew to irritate me, Angel's crew never did.

Yea, I’m fact the longer Angel went on, the better and more intriguing his crew got. Great character arcs.
