How did you discover this film?

I believe I was looking for some 1999 film in an imdb's prolific reviewer page, read this synopsis by accident and watched it for curiosity. What about you?

Why would you care?

I think I googled "mockumentaries" and thought "well, Kirsten Dunst and Denise Richards huh? Even if it's bad at least there's some eye candy". Turned out I f-ing loved it.

I had just sat through this horrible film called "Her" and I was looking at its Wikipedia page to try to understand why it had gotten good reviews. Apparently the films share an actress. It was described as having developed a cult following so I decided to give it a shot.

Watched it for Allison Janney and then I watched it over and over for everything

It played at a film festival in San Francisco. I liked the premise and the cast so I went to see it. It instantly became one of my favorite comedies. Denise Richard's (Becky's) talent performance during the pageant is so hilariously inappropriate its inspired.

A preview before another movie.

We just owned it on cassette.
I thought it looked good.

One day I watched it and was not let down.
Amazingly hilarious movie, might make my top 50 soon...

I had used miles and was flying first class to visit my sister in Hawaii...I think it was 1999.

I never like to watch films on airplanes, but first class had the mini-screens next to you, and it was a super-long flight from the East Coast. I was bored and was flipping through the various movie choices. I'm not sure why I stopped...probably because I thought Denise Richards would be in it more. So I started watching it, and couldn't believe how funny it was!
