You make it sound like she was slumming or something. This is a great movie to make a debut in and the cast was amazing. Allison Janney and Ellen Barkin are high caliber to star with, not to mention Brittany Murphy and Kirsten Dunst.

I read an article that said she was discovered locally for this film and was cast because she had natural-looking eyebrows, not plucked or sculpted or arched.
