I preferred Nathan to Leo
I honestly so would have preferred Nathan to be the one to randomly come back into Grace's life than Leo. Leo totally brought down the quality of the show while he was on.

shareI honestly think everybody did. Woody Harrelson just fitted better with the rest of the cast.
shareNot me. I loved Harry's character and thought he was hilarious. I couldn't stand obnoxious Nathan, and I'm not a Woody Harrelson fan in general.
That said, it's been many years since I watched the show, so I can't say for sure I would feel the same way now. I often find when I rewatch shows later, I have a totally different impression of people than I had the time before.
Nathan was the best!
I have never found Woody Harrelson attractive, but found him HOT in this role. Have no idea why.
Does anyone know why he was written out? Maybe they just didn't think it was time for Grace character to settle down?
I really have to agree with this! I thought he was really hot in this role even though he was so obnoxious at times lol.
I think that was probably down to Woody's own choice. This is by no means to downplay TV stars or the actors on Will and Grace but they are sitcom stars and are famous for their roles on this show whereas Woody did an extended guest stint. He is famous for doing films and I imagine wouldn't wanted to have been tied down to a TV show for the next four years.
True and it felt totally out of character when Nathan already dated another girl 3 days after his split from Grace. But leave it to the writers and producers of W&G to let characters do something that's totally out of character.
You're definitely not alone on that haha.
It's general consensus that Woody and Debra had great chemistry while she and Harry errr uh.....sucked and started the shows downfall.
Not me....I hated Nathan, and always skip those episodes when the are on...found the character boorish, piggish, and he was just a scummy, slobby, blob....I was happy when Nathan finally left, good riddance...
I like Harry Connick, but not the Leo character as much....I hated that they made Leo a cheater, but preferred him over the slob Nathan...

I thought the way they started dating made no sense at all. He was a disgusting pig who made rude comments and had nothing to offer her. Once you got past that, plus the mildly homophobic comment he made when they first met, they did work as a couple. Then they broke up in a way that made as little sense as them getting together in the first place. Three whole relationship was just poorly written and it's ending felt very rushed and random.
When you're 17 a cow can seem dangerous and forbidden...am I alone here?
