That's what it says in the HBO Max description, and I've seen multiple articles looking back at the film that call it a comedy as well. Is it, though? I mean, Jack Black says a couple funny things, but overall I would not call it a comedy and I think that sets potential viewers' expectations wrong coming in.

shareY'know, I probably would have agreed with you back when it was released, but these days the lines have blurred! I think the best comedies flirt with other genres and dark places(e.g. "Succession"...) The best films have elements of all, and it goes way back, I mean, look at movies like "The Blues Brothers" or "Rear Window"π°π°π°
