given that laura's dad dies, and this topic comes up, i was wondering what everyone thinks would be their top 5 funeral songs-

this is a hard one...

1. cannonball-damien rice (i know it's a broody relationship song, but i think the lyrics are nice for a funeral)

2. true love waits-radiohead (ditto above)

3. fix you-coldplay (i would hope that this is how some people would feel when i die!)

4. of angels and angles-the decemberists (i think the lyrics are really pretty and somewhat relevant)


5. in my life-the beatles (it's cliche, but classic)
