I was wondering why people in Limmerick hated Malachy because he was from the North. What's the different between North and South since its Ireland anyway and don't they speak with the same accent??
India and Pakistan. Sunni and *beep* Russian and checcian. Israel and Arab. Serb and Croat. Basically haves and have nots lining up along religious line, going back for many years. In Ireland, the catholics are poor, and the protestants in the north are better off. Hate finds its own level, in the hands and eyes of the poor.
shareActually the South is far wealthier than the North. And that's not just because it's bigger, the average living standards are much better in Ireland than in Northern Ireland.

The list goes on & on....
