i love when Rachel "killed" those son of a bitches at the party, i love how the bitch with the glasses was killed, the glasses inploded in her eyes, i hated her, she was a two faced bitch pretending to be nice to Rachel, god i hate people like that!
I felt far more sympathy for the bullies, as loathsome as they were, than Rachel. Being a douche/bitch doesn't mean it's ok for someone to hold a massacre. Rachel was in full control and killed tons of people, not ok
In full control? Maybe not. She was reacting like a cornered animal. They had hurt her badly and her mental state just melted into pure rage.
Maybe it's because her humiliation didn't seem as extreme as Carrie's, but she was in the same emotional turmoil: hurt, betrayal, panic. Those emotions got the best of her, and the part of her that felt empathy seemed to just shut off so that all she could think about was lashing out against those who hurt her.
They hurt her badly by..... showing a sextape? Yeah, isn't that traumatic. As fo full control, she definitely was. Remember when Jesse and that bitchy chick enter? The bitchy girl is murdered within seconds whereas Rachel took a few moments to call out Jesse. She was in full control.
Rachel didn't CARE About the past torments, including her dead best friend. She was ready to be friends with all the people who bullied her until they posted the sextape. I also never got the impression that they really messed with her until she went to the cops
The bullies in the film were terrible, but they didn't deserve the fate they got. They showed a sex tape of hers and laughed at her. Ok, so it's incredibly nasty (I mean really nasty, and I have no idea how any of them could look at themselves in the mirror after treating someone like that) and it would've stuck with Rachel her whole life, but it still could've been worse. Like what she did to them for example. Rachel could've moved on with her life. She could've held her head up high and never looked back. She could've lived a full and happy life! Been a mother that she wish she had, and maybe even still had Jessie. Instead she kills everyone in cold blood, and throws her life away.
Agreed. And I do think the bullies were terrible people (and not JUST for the sextape, they did a lot of nasty stuff) My issue is that the movie tried to portray Rachel's massacre in a positive light. I wouldn't mind her or the movie even half as much if not for that (I would dislike it still, though)
They were rude and nasty during the whole film . I don't think any of them had one good moment. The sextape is the only thing worth bringing up since it caused the discussion in this thread, but I agree they were horrible the entire film :).
When Mark was only interested in the Rachel stuff because it could get his friend arrested I thought he'd make for an interesting and sorta grey villain, but yeah. No. They sucked.
And true about the sextape. Rachel didn't care about anything else they did (She was ready to be their new best friend even)
I disagree, I think the bullies deserved their fate and I was cheering when Rachel slaughtered them all, I don't think she necessarily "threw" her life away.
What Rachel did is the equivalent of a school shooting. And last I checked, everyone is opposed to those. So no, the bullies didn't deserve to get brutally butchered. And the fact the film acted like they did is downright revolting
Me too, I also hated that Monica bitch, to me she was the worst of them all b/c she befriended Rachel and stabbed her in the back. I so agree with you, I hate people like that too.
No kidding, and how she and that witch Deborah thought it was FUNNY that the boys had that kind of game and a girl killed herself because she was dumped??
The jocks were a bunch of bastards, (except Jesse) I am glad Jesse survived but the ending was creepy, Jesse's nightmare was really strange.I was hoping for a sequel.
