Yeah, she deserved it.

I didn't really think Amy Irving deserved to be killed though.

Yeah, I really liked this movie. I was in high school when it came out, and I grew up watching the original. I don't know why everybody dumps on it? It's not a great movie, but it's a cool revenge, teen-horror movie! Plus it's a brutal, hard R! The best kills have to be the exploding eye glass/eye gouge and the spear through the balls! If they made this today, they'd water it down to a PG-13.

I think her death was pretty much an accident. Wrong place at the wrong time. *beep* was flying through the air. Don't think Rachel knew Amy Irving's character was even there at the party.

reply

Her death mirrors Tommy Ross' from the original. Innocent Bystander wrong place at the wrong time.

reply

Except Tommy had a purpose beyond just showing up to die in the film

No Amy Irving's character didn't deserve to be killed, just those bastard bullies.

You have a laughing smiley face about Monica getting killed.

Har - Monica.

Vengeance rulez.

This time around, bitch #2 was by far WORST than bitch #1.
I would expect Tracy to be just like Chris Hargensen, because she has this personal grudge towards Rachel (for her dating Jessie).
But Monica's part in the scheme was just EVIL, the fact she pretended to be nice to Rachel and the way she showed her true colors during the party (laughing at the bad talking about Lisa's death, calling Rachel "skanky" and even SPITING on her while she was lying on the floor!) made me literally SMILE when she got her eyeglasses exploding into her eyes and killed.

Before the remake of Carrie, I LOVED the massacre scene in this movie. I was also in high school when this came out and if I had seen it in theaters I would have been jumping on the seats and hollering from joy when she went psycho on their a**es.

reply

The girl with glasses was Monica. Everybody cheered when she died. It's a shame Sue died, though. She never hurt anybody.

reply

I applauded Rachel killing all of them evil jerks as well. They did all have it coming especially Tracy and Monica.

As happy as I was to see the bastard teens get their just desserts, I was disappointed on how Mark was killed off. He was pretty much the instigator of the whole mess, and the way he dies is from drowning while suffering from a concussion!? Get the f--- out of here. Mark's death should have been more brutal in my humble opinion.

I like it when the bullied victim gets even against their tormenters.

The first time I watched the movie, I was rooting for Rachel to kill them and laughing when one of them would die.
