Of all the things I thought might suck in this, that last thing I expected was a walking coma phone-in from the usually engaging Mr. Hurt. My gawd. It's like he was the anti-Leto.
"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"
William Hurt tried to play Leto as calm and collected, but he ended up like he had just taken a sedative.
It was hard to watch him in this.
I don't know if it's his worst, he has such a big body of work. But it was certainly nothing to be proud of. He, like a lot of the actors in this, just seemed indifferent. It was as if every scene was shot when he just woke up from a nap.
