Why is Meadow such a brat?

in the first three seasons or so she is a brat and AJ is kind of ok , in the last two three seasons things switch and she is kind of OK while AJ becomes annoying and hateful as f#ck

She's an Italian Principessa

It's a mixed bag. She was not always a brat and she got great grades(Admitted to Columbia) something her brother did not get.

I think the writers liked to use her as an antagonist towards her father and sometimes mom. She losses her virginity to a guy who is half black and half Jewish knowing full well her dad would never like the kid.

Actually the scenes in season 3 about her and Noah play out pretty well and he ends up dumping her because she and her friends are holding him back which is a nice twist.

Because she's the daughter of a mob boss. Daddy's little girl. She can say a lot of stuff and get away with it. At the end of the day they have much bigger things to deal with than her daughter being a smartass. She's a pretty good kid all things considered.

BBC will do that to a gal.

Tony kills people, but Meadow? Oh, she's a brat! Come one. She's mouthy, but not even the worse of the two kids and pretty much the best person in that family.
