Did Ralphie really start the fire in the barn that killed Pie-o-mie
Just started rewatching the series and I don't believe that he was involved in the fire despite the insurance that they would get. Anyone?

Regarding the background of the case, I don't see how he would have had the time or the presence of mind to carry out such an act. Supporting the second theory, however, I noticed that even while his son was in the hospital, he continued collecting money and even assaulted someone—perhaps suggesting that his son's accident did not change him and that he still had the energy to commit acts of violence during this time.
