shareTotally different situation. I believe Snowden is a hypocrite since his supposed purpose was to expose government spying and he fled to Putin's Russia. Chelsea was brave for exposing the abuses of the Iraq war even though everyone knew about them anyway, and paid the price.
Wigand did a great thing by exposing the tobacco company's secret plans to make cigarettes more addictive. He did pay a price, but was exonerated and became a hero of sorts.
I don't think fleeing from unfair imprisonment is a hypocritical or cowardly move.
