Do not watch this

I have to agree with op here. This movie has alot of interesting ideas but delivers instead a bunch of nonsense instead. Ambiguous ending? I thought it was pretty straitforward and common sense. A 7.5 really? Try 4 and thats generous. My 3rd viewing, each time I think to myself; I probably rushed through it, or I am missing the point, but no. This movie just doesn't hold water. I like Darren, and this is a solid indie film but it fakes you out trying to be more than it is.

Nothing wrong with modern B&W movies. Gives it a unique feel

I respectfully and completely disagree. It's a fascinating film. I've seen it twice and give it an 8/10. But then that's why they make chocolate and vanilla.

Btw: a "no brainer"?? Was that a subtle reference to the treplanning scene at the end?
