This could be the explanation for Trump supporters

Sigh hopefully we can cure them before they and their slimey king destroy the world. ?

That's funny, I thought this movie provided a great sci-fi explanation for the laughable brainwashing of Demonic-rats / LIEberals (one-and-the-same).

reply

Yeah, as a recovering leftist, I can assure you, it's a cult. A dangerous cult.

reply

You hit the nail on the head.

If you think about it, every one of these cultist like groups are against Christianity. At their core: they hate traditional family values, they want child sacrifice (abortion), they want to lie, kill, they dont want you to have any freedom, they want people divided. Any hate group fits the definition of being "Anti-Christian" by some if not all of their demonic values.
Antifa
Islam
Democrats
BLM
KKK
The Catholic Church (they claim they are christian but have commited an insane number of atrocities and worship idols)
Scientology
The list could go on for some time. Even well known agency three letter acronyms could go here as well.

The cults point the finger at real Christians like we are the cult, we are the problem. But its all projection, and they are doing awful things to keep us filled with hate and divided.

reply

Cure from what exactly? what a stupid post..

reply

No kidding. Fuckin retards these days.

reply

They wanna inject that genome cocktail into your arm, and then you "get to have your freedom back".

They wanna cure us of our critical thinking so we will blindly follow the next antichrist they cook up.

reply

As usual, a lefty is projecting. Too bad caffeine couldn’t bring you and your right wing counterparts to your senses: it would be nice for society to view 1984 as a warning again rather than a goal.

This could be the explanation for Trump supporters

"Curing" the folks who voted for Trump ain't as hard as we've been lead to believe. The opposition just needs to heed the counsel of James Carville; Get themselves into a Wokeness detox center, and start speaking like human beings once again + at least feigning interest in the day to day problems which are foremost in the minds of John and Jane Q public. Talking here access to high paying jobs and solid housing, rather than hand wringing over transgender bathrooms, and pretending that The 1619 Project is anything other than snake oil

Regrettably non-Republicans seem to be hellbent on dousing themselves in gasoline, lighting the match, and handing said match to their adversaries

Around 2014/2015, the left had really gotten on my nerves to the point where I no longer felt like I myself was on the left. I was just about ready to stop identifying myself as a leftist.

But then, when the age of Trump started the day he announced his candidacy, it was like the right said, "Oh, you think the left are being insufferable assholes? Bro, you ain't seen shit. Hold my beer."

However big of a piece of shit the left has become, the right is 100x worse.

reply

2 sides of the same coin. People are people and yes, they are mostly shitty.

reply

I prefer to be real- Some people are shittier than others. A LOT shittier.

reply

The side one listens to teaches you to hate their political enemy. Either your political leanings stem from emotions and "is he nice or attractive?" OR you simply believe every narrative Party X cooks up. Trump is unlikable first and foremost. The Left turned that emotional response into an indictment of his policies. Most people who hate Trump do so at a visceral level instead of a clinical level. Lots of "facts" people cite are actually fictions of heavily editorialized events. ie. No president is as bad as his enemies claim nor as good as his supporters claim.

Switch all the names and sides of the above and it is also true.

The sad truth is that our presidents get voted in based on looks and emotion. Every presidential candidate that has won the election in the last 60 years has also been the winner of the polls of "Who would you rather sleep with if party was not an issue?" In the end, nothing matters other than this. Those who tear their hair over politics are a small % of the vote in truth. The vast bulk of the voting block is swayed by winds of the moment. It is why candidates whom are listed first tend to get slightly more votes. The voters are susceptible to even minor influence that has zero to do with quality of candidate. You know all the details and know which candidate is much better than the other? Too bad. There are 99 other voters behind you that are going to vote because "other one is a pussy" or "that guy is so mean" or "he reminds me of my grandpa" or "my deity supports that one" or "my favorite comedy show says the other guy is evil."

Don't bother questioning your faith in your party. In the big picture, it doesn't matter. The votes are coming from the stomach and heart, not the brain.

I knew I was a liberal leftist Democrat as soon as I was old enough to know what the words liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, left-wing and right-wing meant. I didn't choose a party or a side, I became aware of which one suited my views on the world. So please, shove that lame post back up your ass where it came from.

reply

If so, that would make you one in one hundred. The other 99 voters in your sample group are not the informed genius that you are. No one is at the mercy of what they are taught, right?

reply

Just people like you.

reply

Your reactions say everything about your temperament and ability/desire to absorb or consider information.

reply

You're one of those shitty people I was talking about.

reply

What a coincidence! ~You~ are one of the shitty people ~I~ was talking about. =D

reply

"Bro, you ain't seen shit. Hold my beer."

Thank you. I feel exactly the same way.

reply

if you still haven't figured out that there is no left and right and that both sides are controlled by the same forces, it just means that you're dumber than fuck. go take your 5th booster, and rid your genes from the pool please

reply

Some people just have to bring politics into everything.
