Why on earth would you not count Tangled as Disney? It's Walt Disney Animation Studio's 50th animated feature. How is that not Disney?

They're probably confused about the status because of the Disney-Pixar merger.

Ok, I guess my list shows my preference pretty clearly:

1. Beauty and The Beast
2. The Little Mermaid
3. Aladdin
4. Mulan
5. Pocahontas

And I really want to go back and watch Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and a few others. I really like Treasure Planet and Atlantis a lot as well. And if Road to El Dorado was a Disney film I would definitely put it in my top five.

As for the singing.... Even though Beauty and The Beast is #1 on my list I could do without most of the songs... but I think the songs in The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas were fantastic. Aladdin had entertaining songs (though not as good as Mermaid and Pocahontas), and for some reason I don't remember the songs in Mulan.

Overall I feel that musicals decide to have a certain number of songs but too often the songs aren't very good. If a song is going to be in a movie or play I think it makes a big difference for it to be good enough to be on the radio or on a good album.
