Yeah, I liked it. And I was impressed by Embry's physical change. I was amazed realizing that he was the chubby kid from 'Dutch.' When I watched it, I hadn't seen him since 'Vacancy.' And he was good; don't get me wrong. But I've just never seen any "leading man," "movie star" qualities from him.

shareI sometimes wonder that if they didn't go with Tobey Maguire, then Ethan Embry could've made a decent Peter Parker in the first live-action Spider-Man movie. In Can't Hardly Wait, he does display that dorky, dogged nice-guy, everyman vibe that you would expect from Peter Parker. Incidentally, Ethan was the voice of Electro on the MTV Spider-Man animated series from 2003
